God Loves ME Best censored by Atom Entertainment!

God Loves ME Best episodic trailers are currently being distributed on the Web via Youtube, Blip.tv, Revver, and Myspacetv.  Yesterday we thought we might as well upload to atomfilms.com, one of the oldest film and video content sights on the Web, if not the first.  So I opened an account and uploaded the first in a series of episodic trailers, the following clip:

Several minutes later, after I saw that it had been viewed by Atom Films seven times, I received an email from them stating the following:

Hello MerkabaProductions,

We have found that your clip violates one or more provisions of Section 4 of our Terms of Service, which states that users may not:

“…create a user name or screen name or upload to, distribute through or otherwise publish through the Site any Materials which are indecent, libelous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, harassing, contain expressions of hatred, bigotry, racism or pornography, or are otherwise objectionable, or that would constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or violate any law.”

Wow! Please watch this video and let me know if you think I have violated section 4! I was amazed. It's comedy! Comedy is often offensive! I wrote back, explained that I thought that it was an error, and sent them links to all my show information so that they could review the nature of the material. A few hours later, not only was this video removed, but my entire account was deleted! DELETED! What? Are you serious? They deleted my account because this video was so horribly offensive. Now, I am very curious as to who runs the show at Atom Entertainment. Are they right wing Christian Fanatics? Are they right wing Orthodox Jews who don't take kindly to religious comedy? Muslims? Who are they?!!! Who are those people who censored my comedy show? I was really quite shocked. But I see it as great news. I got under someone's skin...rubbed them the wrong way...perhaps I scared them....Are they living in fear that featuring a show such as this might create some sort of backlash against their company. Or do they just think we suck? Who knows! But it's pretty funny.

THANK YOU ATOM ENTERTAINMENT FOR ENTERTAINING ME!
