Who Is God Anyway? (and other stuff)

Although the Web is the future of television, it's not quite the future yet and we will be looking to make the jump to cable television after the WGA strike resolves itself. In the meantime, we want to find as many fans as possible, and generate massive buzz about a very poignant concept. Religion and politics. Both are featured in the news every day.  And now, in the spirit of great comedy, we want to have a little fun with topics that people are willing to kill and die over.  Is it really that serious? I mean come on!@#$%...Who's right about God anyway? Who will be saved and who will burn in hell? Is there such a thing as hell? Any such thing as God? Was Jesus Christ really more than a fully enlightened and realized peaceful weed smoking hippie activist with some idealistic views on humanity, and love, who not only was the world's first surfer (the walking on water incident), but was also crucified for his so-called blasphemy?...Nothing more than a metaphorical explanation for the potential that we all have buried within our souls.  If Jesus were to come back down today, would any of the evangelicals believe him, when he told them he was the Christ?  Certainly they would crucify him all over again. Or maybe they'd just write him off as an insane lunatic, and he'd be homeless, begging for change in the streets. Or maybe...he'd open a bong store in Brooklyn!  So who does God really love best? Merkaba Productions of course!  And we'd like to share our satirical approach to religion and politics.  We also really enjoy making fun of reality television because while it may be lucrative to the "suits,".... It's so gay! (and I don't mean that in a homosexual way, I mean that in a Chicago way...you see, people in Chicago, say everything is gay...you'd have to visit to know what I'm talking about) Not to belittle spiritual and religious people....But to entertain those who understand the insanity of religious extremism and fundamentalism, and to hopefully make the fundamentalists laugh at themselves a little bit. Because they are quite ridiculous. And who do they think God is? A he?  Big Daddy living up in the sky?  Come on!  Is that a sane rational thought?
