Here's the thing: God Loves ME Best! is not here to rain on anyone's spiritual parade, nor do we seek to belittle seekers of the truth. If that were the case than we would be the hypocrites... because the truth is really all that matters to us. If we were to be intolerant of anyone for having a religion, than we would be the laughing stock of ourselves, because our show is designed to ridicule the intolerant.

I've been to hundreds of masses, received communion, chanted with Buddhists, meditated in Ashrams, sung Hebrew prayer in a Synagogue during Shabbat, and prayed among Muslims. Still nothing brings me closer to what I call God, than sitting on a beach at sunset, walking through the clouds amidst a rich wildlife area in Colorado at eight or nine thousand feet, making love to my beautiful Goddess, or consuming an incredible salad. But that's just me. I'm not here to preach to others, or tell them how to connect with the absolute. And I'm certainly not here to bring down the holy, or insult the practices that many hold sacred. The mission of God Loves ME Best! is to show that we are all one. All these methods for finding peace and joy in life through God, are really all the same. It is those who segregate themselves through organized religious fundamentalism, deem themselves superior through their chosen form of God (or no God), disobey the laws of Karma (some call it the ten commandments) while maintaining a self righteous stance, take holy scripture literally word for word, or persecute and repress and kill in the name of "God," that we aim to expose... God Loves ME Best! is a character study of some of the most interesting, entertaining, and unfortunately some of the most destructive people on the planet.

What fueled the creation of the show, are the haters and war mongers, who claim to be connected to some form of God, while simultaneously administering violence upon humanity, and destruction upon the earth. These are liars and hypocrites and unbeknownst to them, they actually have no connection to God. Because if they did, things would be different. And there would be no wars. In Christian terms, Satan is very much alive on the planet, and he comes in the form of those who destroy life in the name of God.

Can we personally change them? Nope. But we can certainly make fun of them in a TV show. And why not? If it's done right, maybe they'll even laugh at themselves.

HOORAY! Bush is out of office! HOORAY! Obama is finally president! Hooray, hooray, hooray. Yesterday, we witnessed a great moment in history and politics. Simultaneously, not since Pastor Rick Warren's "purpose driven discussions" last summer, have I been so disturbed with American politics. On Tuesday, January 20th, 2009, the historical inauguration day of America's first African American president, Pastor Rick has once again managed to slither his way into the spotlight. According to CNN it was Obama's decision, which I'm sure came as a recommendation from his advisors, who sought to purify bad blood with the evangelical Christian right, floating behind in the wake of the brutal presidential election battle of 2008. Consequently, one of America's greatest days in history has been tarnished by Pastor DICK'S inaugural blessing. Why is it, that in the middle of a political triumph, a fundamentalist spokesman for Christianity must take the stage to demonstrate to the rest of the planet, that the United States of America is in fact a CHRISTIAN nation, while forcing millions of American voters of other denominations, creeds, beliefs, and non-beliefs, to participate in the Lord's prayer? To the Islamic extremists, otherwise known as "the enemy," that little stunt is the equivalent of one of our presidential predecessor's more famous lines, "Bring em' on." Why? why? WHY?... Is it so important to emphasize religion in American politics? It's disturbing! Am I the only one disturbed by this? What is going on? By tattooing Obama's presidency with the Christian stamp of approval, not only are "they" creating danger for Americans abroad, "they" (whoever "they" are) are promoting terrorism, and inviting more destruction. It's a happy day of change for so many people, including myself, and I wish not to spoil the fun and the celebration, but when are we as a people really going to wake up? Because until there can be politics without the intervention of organized extreme religion, "we" (whoever "we" are) are still very much asleep.

As one US Airways flight 1549 survivor put it, "God was certainly looking out for all of us।" So I guess what this fortunate fellow means is, God, the old man with the beard who lives up in the clouds, decided that all the people on US Airways flight 1549 were so special, that he decided to frighten the crap out of all of them by faking a fatal plane crash, systematically making them think that they were going to die, then at the very last minute, God said, "HA-HA! Just kidding! I'm not going to kill you! I just wanted to scare the shit out of you, and then save your asses, since you're all so special, and I really want you to know that I care for you and love you, so I'm going to save you now, so that you believe in me। The passengers on Flight 800, and other catastrophic fatal crashes were generally not good people, and so I disposed of them... After all, I'm God, damn it, and I exterminate bad people. The Sudanese victims of genocide are generally bad people, which is why I don't let them live. 9-11 rescue workers, trapped and crushed on 9-11... Obviously bad people... Jewish victims of the Holocaust? Well certainly I had to kill them since they didn't believe in the divinity of my son Jesus. I mean, no brainer there."

There you have it folks। If you survived a near fatal plane crash, it wasn't because a highly trained and experienced professional crew exemplified ingenuity, composure, and magnificent skill to save your ass, it's because God apparently loves you more than others, whom he has previously allowed to perish.

Or, perhaps what this gentleman really meant was that universal consciousness combined with the laws of Karma provided the fate which was the destiny of Flight 1549. But I doubt it.

Fifteen months after the God Loves ME Best! channel was created on Youtube, the series clips, trailers, and webisodes have surpassed the one hundred thousand mark and continue to generate hits, while new subscribers to the channel hop aboard on a daily basis. This was achieved without the help of Youtube, who has repeatedly ignored our requests for some featured time on their home-page. Not only that, but it appears that Youtube has somewhat censored our show, by not crediting our channel for "Directors Most Subscribed" during weeks in which we clearly had many more subscribers than the channels that were listed in Youtube's "Directors Most subscribed" category. In the meantime, a new pilot is being written with an approach that will really make people wonder if the characters are real or not. Amazingly, there are quite a few fans on Youtube, who actually believe that God Loves ME Best! is an actual reality show. On that note, I would have to congratulate the cast on a job well done. We've successfully managed to make some smart people laugh while angering some nim-rods, and apparently fooling some dim-wits. Now for the next order of business... to find our audience on cable television.

Millions of people in this country base their presidential vote on personal financial gain rather than the welfare of humanity. Tragic, disgusting, unfortunate, embarrassing, inhumane, and sad.

How about the Christian fundamentalists who will always vote Republican based on the traditional connection between right wing conservatism and Christianity? Well, well, well.. Once again, I smell HYPOCRISY!!! Those who claim to be following the teachings of Jesus, and voted for McCain, are unfortunately, disobeying Jesus. Because Jesus wanted to share the wealth. McCain, AKA, the embodiment of Satan, encourages the philosophy, that those who are well off should gain more, and those with nothing are not worth anyone's time. Uh-- How many houses does he have again?

Anyhow, interesting that the Christian right overwhelmingly supports the McCain/Palin ticket, when it is actually BARACK OBAMA, who is exemplifying the teachings of JESUS, by suggesting a tax system in which the wealthy are taxed more and the poor are given a break.

If you're a Christian or a scripture abiding Jew, and you voted McCain, you're not paying very close attention to your God.

For example:

Matthew 19 : 21-24
21 Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."

22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.

23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

Likewise the Torah teaches that spreading the wealth is generally a good idea, expressed in Leviticus 25:35-37:

"If one of your countrymen becomes poor and is unable to support himself among you, help him as you would an alien or a temporary resident, so he can continue to live among you. Do not take interest of any kind from him, but fear your God, so that your countryman may continue to live among you. You must not lend him money at interest or sell him food at a profit."

Therefore, I suppose at this point, the conservative Christian right should come to terms with the conclusion that the Good Lord Jesus Christ was in fact-- a socialist.

A couple of blogs ago I was not happy with Obama's performance at the Pastor Rick discussions. Well, I can say now, Barack has come around full circle, and I do sincerely believe that he is the absolute best that the Democratic party has to offer. His speeches every night late in his campaign have been mind blowing... impressive... Speehes that sound like they will be historical classic speeches for all times, right along side the great famous speeches by JFK, Bobby, and MLK. He shoots from the heart, and for once, we have a politician on a positive vibe. I was always going to vote for him... that wasn't the question... the question was, is he strong enough to beat McCain... The answer is... He is a far superior potential commander in chief than the negative rhetoric driven geriatric John McCain. 'Nuff said.

Got some people upset at me for making fun of Jesus and here's what I have to say on that topic: Jesus was an enlightened being...He most certainly had to have had a sense of humor. Being fully spiritually realized, he would have been void of all ego, which means he would have taken no offense to anyone who seemingly "made fun of him" even if it were perceived by others to be insults. Any so-called Christians, i.e. followers of Jesus, who become offended by Jesus jokes, are not truly following the teachings of Christ. Because Jesus told you to turn the other cheek, and he never told anyone to come to his defense, and furthermore, according to the bible, Jesus despised religion! By being part of organized religion, you disobey his true teachings. So to the so-called "Christian Warriors of God," educate yourselves on the true teachings of Jesus, and stop being hypocrites by supporting the annihilation of other races and creeds. If you are offended by Jesus jokes, it is because you live your life in fear, and your ego has total control of you. The teachings of Jesus were no different from that of the Buddah and Lord Krishna...Look deep within yourself, to destroy the fear you hold within, and peel away the layers of your ego, so that your true inner self, the infinite light being that dwells throughout the cosmos, may emerge and shine on forever. Pastor Rick's Purpose Driven Talks - Obama's Blunders

Last night's purpose driven discussions between Pastor Rick Warren and the presidential candidates is yet another perfect example of why the time is now for God Loves ME Best! Jesus Christ!! Are you fucking kidding me? An evangelical religious platform to question presidential candidates on their purpose and intent. WHAT THE?????

I want the republicans out of office just as much as the next advocate for Earth and humanity, but listen, McCain blew Obama out of California last night. Both candidates were excellent at dodging the actual questions and answering everything in a round-about way that would seem to appease all, but there was one tough question where Obama seriously blundered; The one that Pastor Rick asked about the definition of RICH in America. Obama stupidly defined rich as having an income of over $150K, and then proceeded to explain how he would create higher taxes for that category! While it makes sense to tax the rich and relieve the poor, the higher income swing voters don't want to hear stuff like that. McCain, masterfully answered that question, explaining that the term RICH was all relative, and pertained to having a good job, with a home and a supportive family, and then explained that he didn't want to raise taxes for anyone.

If Obama is the best that that Democrats could do to produce a quality candidate, I can tell you already, looks like God is going to like the republicans best because Obama is playing right into the hands of the war mongers! Get used to war people!! Cuz' it ain't ending in our life-times unless the Obama camp devises more intelligent tactics.

And by the way...Did anyone notice McCain claiming that he "knows how to get Osama Bin Laden?" How the fuck do you know how to get Osama Bin Laden unless he's playing croquet in your back yard? WHAT THE???!!! WHAT IN THE??!!!

I received a comment today from a Muslim: "Islam is a peaceful religion , Islam is the true religion of God."
Here's the video he sent me: (It's a lovely video, I truly enjoyed it.)

What struck me, is this fellow's words: "Islam is the true religion of God." Fine by me, but I'm imagining there's a few Christians, Jews, and Devil worshippers who beg to differ. And then I got to thinkin'......I sure would like to see all those folks in the same little room together singing to one another and discussing "The true religion of God." Maybe even a bathroom. Maybe even a rest stop bathroom somewhere along the I-10 in what I like to refer to as the butthole of Texas. (That's probably not very nice, but it's true! You ever driven through Texas on the I-10?....It totally sucks ass!)

Wouldn't that be fun?

So here was my response to the Islamic fellow:

I know Islam is Peaceful brother, what I've done is shot a TV show about the hypocrites in order to make fun of their ignorance. This is not to deny the goodness that people experience in all religions. Not just in Islam by the way. That's the other reason I made this show. Because no religion is a "true religion of God" unless it accepts the religions of all others. Once you become close minded, you are a hypocrite to what God really stands for...LOVE.

The only hope for any possibility of peace in this world is to vote for the other guy. No, it's not time to simply leave it in the hands of the Lord. No, it's not time for Armageddon, apocalypse, second coming, judgement day. People have been thinking that every century for the last two thousand years. It's not a matter of accepting Jesus Christ or spontaneously combusting.

It's a matter of hope and change. And if there is to be any hope of change, people must awaken. Or we can just "stay the course" and passively witness our demise. Holy Roman Empire! Haven't we seen this before? If the United States "stays the course" She will crumble. Maybe not in our life times, but She will crumble if there isn't conscious reformation NOW!

It would be wonderful if humanity could awaken as a whole, and rise to unite as one above fear and hatred. Above segregation of religion and race. But that is idealistic. It won't happen before the earth is destroyed. So what can we do? Choose to live our own lives in bliss, helping those who cross our paths however and whenever we can. And accept whatever fate the universe has in store for us. NO FEAR. NO FEAR! Do not give in to the brainwash of the fear mongers who are the new world order.

Wow! Please watch this video and let me know if you think I have violated section 4! I was amazed. It's comedy! Comedy is often offensive! I wrote back, explained that I thought that it was an error, and sent them links to all my show information so that they could review the nature of the material. A few hours later, not only was this video removed, but my entire account was deleted! DELETED! What? Are you serious? They deleted my account because this video was so horribly offensive. Now, I am very curious as to who runs the show at Atom Entertainment. Are they right wing Christian Fanatics? Are they right wing Orthodox Jews who don't take kindly to religious comedy? Muslims? Who are they?!!! Who are those people who censored my comedy show? I was really quite shocked. But I see it as great news. Although the Web is the future of television, it's not quite the future yet and we will be looking to make the jump to cable television after the WGA strike resolves itself. In the meantime, we want to find as many fans as possible, and generate massive buzz about a very poignant concept. Religion and politics. Both are featured in the news every day. And now, in the spirit of great comedy, we want to have a little fun with topics that people are willing to kill and die over. Is it really that serious? I mean come on!@#$%...Who's right about God anyway? Who will be saved and who will burn in hell? Is there such a thing as hell? Any such thing as God? Was Jesus Christ really more than a fully enlightened and realized peaceful weed smoking hippie activist with some idealistic views on humanity, and love, who not only was the world's first surfer (the walking on water incident), but was also crucified for his so-called blasphemy?...Nothing more than a metaphorical explanation for the potential that we all have buried within our souls. If Jesus were to come back down today, would any of the evangelicals believe him, when he told them he was the Christ? Certainly they would crucify him all over again. Or maybe they'd just write him off as an insane lunatic, and he'd be homeless, begging for change in the streets. Or maybe...he'd open a bong store in Brooklyn! So who does God really love best? Hats off to David Letterman’s company World Wide Pants, who have reached an agreement with the Writer’s Guild of America that will put The Late Show back on the air with it’s staff writers intact, while the rest of Big Media continues it’s quest to prevent writers from claiming revenue on new media. For those who don’t know, new media translates to programming streamed and downloaded for viewing on digital technologies...i.e. the internet and mobile phones. Seems the studios don’t feel that writers are entitled to being compensated for shows that they created and wrote that are downloaded onto i-pods and mobile phones and watched on planes, trains, and toilets all over the world. I wonder if the studio and big media conglomerates think that God is on their side on this one? Maybe God Loves them best? I wonder if they’re holding secret ceremonies in caves somewhere in Delaware, worshipping giant owls, dressing in drag...branding themselves with secret markings on the underside of their balls...in unity, and consuming massive portions of human stew. And there’s no doubt President Bush would be there...with his evil smirk...nodding his approval of global economic domination with affectionate stupidity...That would be funny. But not really. Mostly scary. Anyhow, good job David Letterman. God loves YOU best!

Happy New Year by way of the western solar calendar! This is the first blog entry by God Loves ME Best! This election year keeps religion at the forefront of political agendas, and it is becoming more and more evident each day that our comedy series God Loves ME Best! is needed to bring awareness and comedy relief to a topic that has people at WAR all over this planet. RELIGION!!!! The roots of all evil appear to be money and God, the two main ingredients of religion, and also the leading motivators for committing homicide and genocide across the globe. We are not atheists, nor agnostics. We are spiritual beings who have our own definition of God, but do not practice organized religion. We are not here to belittle the spiritual practices of anyone and we are not here to denounce religion. God Loves ME Best! is not designed to insult the spiritual practices of anyone. But we would like to get to the origin of all this insanity. By insanity, we’re talking about the religious extremists and fundamentalists who are convinced that their individual religions are the only means to salvation. Why do they think their way is the only way? Why do they think it’s righteous to kill over who is right about God, when their prophets teachers, and messiahs preach that love is the only answer to salvation? Why are many religious people intolerant bigots and racists? Was Jesus into weapons? Was Muhammad into mass murder? The state of humanity is bleak when it comes to religion. We respect and admire people who are able to connect to their God and become enlightened through their spiritual practices. But the hypocrites continue to "entertain" us on a daily basis so we would like to shed some light out there somewhere and create some laughter in the process. Thank you for watching and stay tuned.
